Definitely beautiful world we live in. Iolana is participating in Joy school this year and this month we're teaching the Joy of the Earth. It's easy to forget how amazing the Earth is when you live in a big concrete city. It's nice to slow down and take views like this in.

Multnomah Falls. I can't say I've ever been there but it looks like a place I'd love to backpack through. And an excellent place for Iolana. Water, rocks, mountains and trees to climb, what more could a kid want!
And finally to the beach! Mud, and water, and sand. Bare feet and sticks. This has to be a child's dream! All the things Iolana loves to get dirty with all in one trip, how much better can it get??!! When you have a grandma and an aunt who don't get to see Iolana but once maybe twice a year, it can be pretty easy to get con a few things from them. I believe Iolana came home with a hippo bottle, a pink shirt with monkey's on it (from the zoo) and a stuffed hippo. Kaylin got a stuffed tiger too and she didn't even go.

That looks so fun!! That is so cool you are doing Joyschool. I loved it last year with Ranoah. This year I am in a group that couldn't afford the curriculum, but we are doing the same rotation and such. We are doing an alternative Phonics thing like what I did with Zach and Ranoah. Next year I will be doing Joyschool with her for sure!! Love the pics. Multnoma Falls are beautiful!! I love them!
thanks for the reminders of home. I sure miss it!
