Why Dora?

I knew it was inevitable that Kaylin would become a Dora fiend just like her sister. I was just hoping that it would happen much later but, it doesn't look like it's meant to be. At least I can say that her first word was "diaper" and not "Dora". She say too much yet but she does say hi, diaper, mama, dadie, and Dora.

She has her favorite bedtime books that she looks for on the book shelf. Unfortunately she goes through every book dropping it on the floor until she finds the right one. One of her favorites is a Dora book with a finger puppet attached. On the back there's a picture of Swiper the Fox and just tonight she tried to say Swiper. It does sound a lot like Diaper so she may catch on quickly to his name. I'm not sure we can handle two Dora maniacs! And just to think this fad probably won't be over until Kaylin's at least 6, maybe 7; Have mercy!
