It had finally happened! Earlier this week the FAA sent me a tentative offer letter! I am to report to the Prescott Airport (of all places) for "duty". I'm excited to know that I'm still in the running. If all goes well and I pass all the tests and make it through training academy I'll be controlling the airways of Prescott. I'll get to go back to where my life without parents began...college. It's really a nice place, but I'm sure it'll have a totally different feel to it now that I won't be bound to my room, or the library. or computer lab, or the engineering lab, or...well you get the idea. So with any luck you'll be seeing another update from me in a month saying I'm off to academy in Oklahoma City. Anyone know of someone who lives there? I'll need a place to say for about 2 months!
We'll actually get decent health care that doesn't cost as much as Antarctica, and perhaps we'll make enough for Adam to get a TV that won't die after a few months.

Congratulations and good luck!! We are glad you finally heard back - and Prescott!? Hope it is great!
Sorry I don't know that I know anyone in Oklahoma.
Glad to hear you found something. Best of luck there.
