January 1st we took Iolana over to a friend's house to play a bit while we ran some errands. Little did we know that EVERYTHING is closed on New Years Day. So, instead we decided to head over to Claim Jumpers for a quick anniversary dinner. We decided to get an appetizer salad and then skip on to the desserts since we usually end up too full by the end of the meal for dessert. It was delicious btw! And happy anniversary to us - year 6 is behind us, and many more in front.
Picking Iolana up we were told the girls had a surprise for me. Curious I asked what it was. Then, running past me came first, Lindy, then Iolana. As they rounded the corner I got a glimpse of Iolana's hair. There was a lot missing! It seems that the girls had found some scissors and thought they would surprise everyone by cutting their hair, and Iolana got the brunt of the work done. No need to say that they had a little talk and away went the scissors. I finally got around to cutting the rest of her hair today. I had to take off about 3.5 inches!
