Catch Up

Playing catch up tonight as you can see. I've been hearing about everyone's summer vacations which have been really great so far! I don't have a whole lot to tell you about ours except we've been swimming at least once a day and I'm starting to think I'm a fish! Iolana has been in swimming lessons and is doing great! When we started out the summer she would barely stick her nose in the water, let alone where whole head! Now she's jumping into the water without any floaters and will swim (doggie paddle mainly) to the side. She has even jumped off our friends diving board! I'm very amazed at how fast she has decided to learn to swim.

Kaylin is doing well in the water too. While Iolana swims in her class we participate in a child parent class. Kaylin will hold her breath while we go under the water, she'll blow bubbles, splash, kick, and she likes to walk off the edge and have me catch her (as soon as she learns how to jump it's on!).

I might finally have a job here soon with the FAA. I've taken my interview and now I have to wait yet again. We're hoping this leg of the process won't take as long but there's no telling with the government (no offense Jed). Other than the FAA I haven't heard back from the other folks I've applied to but I'm not giving up that easily. In reality I don't really have to work, but, if I want to be rid of my school loans within my lifetime, I'd better get a job. Of course I'd rather have one that I will enjoy, so we'll see where these leads get me. Otherwise, I may end up somewhere just to "pay the bills" for a little while. At this point we are just trusting that the Lord guides me into the right job/path. And when I get a job, that will alleviate some of the stress on Adam. He has been a real trooper working tons of overtime and not getting much of a break let a lone sleep to keep him going! How can you not love a man who puts his family's needs above his own.

This is a change of subject from your post. It comes from a fellow Christian. If you want to visit my blog it is http://threeswans.blogspot.com I found your site when I was looking for people who like to read uplifting fiction, including (?) Christian fiction. If you do, may I suggest "Outcasts Of Skagaray" as one to try? For a preview, there are sample chapters on www.threeswans.com.au
I would be glad if you read and enjoyed it, but irrespective, I greet you in the Lord.
